About Me

Hello… I’m Neal.

I’d rather listen to you, than write about me, but your wedding day is such a personal, intimate occasion and I think that it’s important that you should know a little about the suppliers that you choose. Especially your photographer! I want to be more than just another supplier. I really like to get-along with the people I work with, which in turn makes the entire wedding day experience a much more relaxed affair for everyone.

I’m a family man. That’s my gang pictured below, doing things that we like to do. They mean everything to me and I’m so grateful that this wonderful job of mine allows me to have so much time with them.

As a person, previous couples often say that I’m calm, professional, unobtrusive, friendly and creative. I want to fit into your wedding day, not dictate it, and I’ll work my socks off to create the story of your day for you.

I make my living from professional photography, and shot my first wedding over eleven years ago. It goes without saying that I’m fully insured and carry plenty of spare equipment. I usually work on my own, and provide a truly personal service throughout.

Professionally, I am a member of the Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers (SWPP) and am based on the Suffolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire border at Haverhill. I’m within easy reach of Cambridge, Newmarket, Saffron Walden, Bury St Edmunds and Ely and have regularly provided professional photographic services in all these areas. I will of course travel further if required – please do ask.

We chose Neal as the photographer for our wedding day after countless recommendations by friends and also seeing him at work at the said friends various weddings. Neal’s laid back yet professional style was perfect for us, he puts you at ease instantly and managed to capture all of the elements of our lovely day. Neal was so professional and really easy going. We wanted relaxed photos and had two kids to deal with and the photos of our girls are gorgeous and are really special. We had a late wedding which meant our package ensured we had photos almost up to the end of the night. Neal worked so hard and it was a scorcher that day – he definitely worked the hardest that day! It is true that you pay for what you get and it was a blessing our original photographer fell through and Neal was recommended.
